About the Auction
Donum Fidei means “Gift of Faith.” This is exactly what we as a parish community and as Disciples of Christ are called to do - hand on the gift of faith to all of our children, young people, and even older people searching for truth - so that each new generation may be blessed, as we are blessed, with our faith in Jesus Christ. Education at Corpus Christi is a high priority as a means of handing on the gift of faith. The proceeds of this auction will fund Corpus Christi Catholic Education: the operational budgets of Corpus Christi Catholic School, our Parish Religious Education Program (RE), and helping keep costs down for parents and the parish as a whole as the cost of education continues to rise.

General Auction Information
All sales are final. All sales are “as is.” There are no refunds, exchanges or substitutions unless otherwise noted in the catalog. As a convenience to our guests, cash, checks, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover), or any combination of these, are accepted. Credit cards are subject to a 4% service fee. No item may leave the premises without being paid in full. Vacation and Ticket Packages are not transferrable and are donated for the adults or families under the terms and limitations described in the catalog. Please make arrangements early for best availability, and respect the owner’s property during your stay. NOTE: buyer agrees to be fiscally responsible for any damages to property (not Corpus Christi Church). Unless otherwise stated, all auction items expire one year from the date of the auction. All items can be picked up on Monday, August 3rd from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Corpus Christi is not responsible for items left after that time. No deliveries will be made by Corpus Christi.

Tax Laws on Charitable Donations
The auction statement provided to each buyer at the time of check-out indicates the fair market value of each item purchased. The tax deductibility of each item is the amount paid by the buyer that exceeds the fair market value. Corpus Christi Donum Fidei provides this information to its patrons in good faith, based on information supplied by the auction donors. Please consult your tax advisor for more complete information about the tax deductibility of your purchase. The amount that exceeds $30 for each purchased auction ticket is tax deductible as allowed by law.


Bidding Procedures - SILENT AUCTION
All Silent Auction areas will open at 6 PM on Monday, April 12. Each area will close on Saturday, April 17, at a different time, as follows:

All silent auction bids will be made through text bidding. Please follow the instructions below or ask an auction committee member for help.

Bidding Procedures - LIVE AUCTION
The Live Auction will begin on April 17 at 7:30 PM and end at 9 PM. Purchases will be made via mobile bidding. Live Auction packages cannot be altered or customized beyond what is described in the catalog. Reservations are subject to availability. Certificates cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. All purchases are non-refundable. Packages cannot be resold. Suggested retail value is calculated using tariff air rates and rack room rates. Ground transportation is not included.

Mobile Bidding
REGISTER
Register your smartphone and credit card information on our registration page before or upon arrival. Once your smartphone is registered, you will receive an automated ‘welcome text’ with your bidder URL. If you do not receive a text message, see a volunteer or staff member. After clicking the URL in the text, confirm your name when prompted. You can now begin searching for silent auction packages by number, keyword or category.
BID
Select the packages you wish to bid on. You can bid on the next increment, set a max bid, or simply “Watch” packages.

Max Bid: If you enter the highest max bid on a package, the system will automatically place bids in your favor until your max bid is reached or until the silent auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid.

Buy Now: To purchase a package at the Buy Now price, select the Buy Now button.

Watch: You can keep an eye on packages you have bid on or are watching by clicking the “Menu” button and selecting “My List.” If you are outbid at any point before the silent auction closes, you will be notified by text message. As soon as the silent auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win. You can check your winning packages under “My List.”

GENERAL DONATIONS
To make a general donation, select the Donation button on your home screen and choose a pre- set amount or select the Custom Amount button to enter the amount you wish to donate and select OK.
